Passive construction
In our course, experts will not only provide detailed knowledge about the design and construction of passive houses, but will also introduce a range of solutions used in these processes. In particular, the use of renewable energy technologies and intelligent control. Students will gain a broad theoretical knowledge of passive construction. More importantly, they will become acquainted with the practical aspects of this issue and will have the opportunity to participate in numerous RESEARCH PROJECTS. An important didactic element is also the issues related to the legal status of passive construction and aspects arising from the Renewable Energy Sources Act. The study of engineering on the specialisation of building structures provides the education of specialists who, on the basis of the acquired theoretical knowledge and practical skills, are prepared to perform various engineering functions in the general and specialised construction industry, may constitute the staff of study and design offices, investment services, factories of construction materials and elements, have a supporting role or be co-authors of creative activities in the design of more complex structures, with sufficient general and engineering knowledge for the structural design of various types of standard buildings and public buildings and engineering and industrial structures, including the design of modernisations and adaptations of erected buildings and structures.
