The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) imposes an obligation on public entities to appoint a Data Protection Officer, whose duties in accordance with Article 39(1) of the GDPR include:

1. informing and advising the Data Controller, the processor and the employees who process the personal data about their obligations under the GDPR and other generally applicable data protection laws;
2. monitoring compliance with the GDPR, other generally applicable data protection laws and internal laws, as well as taking measures to increase the awareness of personnel participating in operations processing through training and related audits;
3. providing recommendations on data protection impact assessments and monitoring of their implementation upon request; cooperation with the President of the Data Protection Office;
4. acting as a contact point for the President of the Data Protection Office on issues related to processing, including prior consultations and, where appropriate, conducting consultations on any other matters

This Privacy Policy sets out the rules for the collection, processing and use of personal data obtained from you by the University of Linguistics and Technology in Świecie

Personal data

  3. The processing is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.

Students’ data may be transferred to postal and courier companies (for the purpose of delivering parcels), electronic payment services (in the case of choosing the online payment option), debt collection agencies and law firms (in the case of pursuing claims) and lecturers and trainers cooperating with us (within the scope of the course). In the remaining scope, the data will not be disclosed (made available) to other entities, except for the cases provided for in the applicable regulations.
  5. If your personal data is processed on the basis of your consent, you can withdraw it at any time by sending an email to the following address: kontakt@ult.edu.pl
  6. Everyone has the right to request access to their personal data, rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, objection to processing, as well as data portability.
  7. Everyone has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.

“University of Linguistics and Technology in Świecie” collects the following personal data:

  1. surname and first name
  2. address of residence
  3. e-mail address
  4. telephone number
  5. date of birth
  6. place of birth,
  7. PESEL

The data collected is necessary to issue and send the Certificate.

Safety

For the sake of your safety, we guarantee full confidentiality of the information we collect and analyze. It will not be disclosed to any entity not listed herein.
