University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn
On September 27, 2019, the Rector of the University of Linguistics and Technology in Świecie, Dr. Elżbieta Sternal, signed a cooperation agreement with the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn, which was represented by the Rector, Prof. Ryszard J. Górecki.
In accordance with the signed agreement, the University of Linguistics and Technology in Świecie and the Branch Office in Przasnysz are authorized to teach philology at the level of first- and second-cycle studies preparing to practice the profession of a teacher in the field of humanities in the discipline of language and literature.
In addition, an agreement to determine the organization of projects in the field of common interest, in particular conferences, seminars, specialist trainings in areas related to the dissemination of knowledge.
The cooperation agreement is concluded for the entire university and allows for studies to be conducted at the registered office, in branches, at any level and profile for a given field of study.
The legal basis for the agreement is the Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws, item 1668, as amended); Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of 27 September 2018 on studies (Journal of Laws, item 1861, as amended); Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of 25 July 2019 on the standard of initial teacher training (Journal of Law, item 1450).
OKSIR Świecie
On 30.09.2021, the University of Linguistics and Technology in Świecie, represented by Rector Elżbieta Sternal and the Centre for Culture, Sport and Recreation, represented by Director Iwona Mazelewska, decided to sign an agreement.
Cooperation will be carried out in the following forms:
- Participation in the implementation of joint projects
- Organisation of joint seminars and scientific conferences
- Active participation in the evaluation of ULT regulations and educational programs. The agreement was concluded for an indefinite period of time.
Non-public General Education School Complex of Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz, Gen. Ryszard Kukliński International School of Bydgoszcz
Cooperation agreement concluded on September 30, 2021 between the University of Linguistics and Technology in Świecie, represented by Dr. Elżbieta Sternal, and the “Non-public General Education School Complex of Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz, Gen. Ryszard Kuklinski International School of Bydgoszcz, represented by the Director, Ms. Imisława Górska.
The agreement will support the school in teaching foreign languages and literature. Cooperation in this area has two main objectives:
- Developing a methodology for teaching English as a mother tongue, creating curricula for teaching world literature and English for students for whom English is the so-called leading foreign language, as well as in the field of didactics of world literature and English from the level of the sixth grade of the Polish primary school to the level of the international baccalaureate.
- Enabling student internships in the field of foreign language teaching for students from the first and second stages of education and from the preschool education level.
District Office in Świecie
On 30 September 2014, the Higher School of Foreign Languages in Świecie (currently the University of Linguistics and Technology in Świecie), represented by Rector Elżbieta Sternal, signed an agreement with the District Office in Świecie, represented by Mr. Franciszek Koszowski. Cooperation will be carried out in the following forms:
- Organization of joint scientific and cultural events
- Supporting the University’s activities
- Participation in the implementation of joint projects
- Organisation of joint seminars and conferences
- Cooperation in the field of improving professional qualifications of employees of the District Office
Possibility of student internships for WSJO (ULT) students in schools subordinate to the Secular Starosty.
Primary School No. 3 in Grudziądz
The agreement was concluded on 12 January 2015 between the Rector of the Higher School of Foreign Languages in Świecie (currently the University of Linguistics and Technology in Świecie) Elżbieta Sternal and the Principal of the Primary School No. 3 in Grudziądz, Ms. Krystyna Stawecka. The agreement is to support the School in teaching foreign languages. Cooperation in this area is aimed at developing language competences, popularizing foreign language learning, in particular: English and German, and arousing interest in the cultures of different countries. As a result of the agreement, WSJO (ULT) will make it easier for teachers and students of the School to benefit from the organizational potential, scientific base and experience in the field of education.
Intraservis Job, owner of the Tvojarabota brand
On November 18, 2021, the Rector of the University of Linguistics and Technology in Świecie, Dr. Elżbieta Sternal, signed a cooperation agreement with Intraservis Job, the owner of the Tvojarabota brand, referring to the educational project: studiujepracuje.pl.
As part of the agreement, the University and Intraservis Job undertake to promote each other among candidates interested in taking up education at the University and students who have already started this education and are seriously thinking about working in parallel with their studies.
Intraservis Job will provide its employees with access to the University’s recruitment materials, the ability to advertise the University’s services among the Company’s employees and in its marketing campaigns.
The University undertakes to provide its students with access to advertising materials related to the studiujepracuje.pl project. As far as possible, the University will make available in electronic form information about current job offers posted by the Company for an interested group of students.
Cooperation with foreign countries
Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan State University
On September 12, 2019, the Rector of the University of Linguistics and Technology in Świecie, Dr. Elżbieta Sternal, signed a cooperation agreement with Sarsen Amanzholov East Kazakhstan State University, which was represented by Rector Mukhtar Tolegen.
The main objective of the agreement is the implementation of the jointly developed Academic Mobility Programme for students and employees of both Universities. The agreement sets out the terms and conditions for the organisation of Academic Mobility, cooperation for innovation and good practices, and the principles of supporting activities in the field of education. In addition, as part of the agreement, HEIs may implement mechanisms to improve the quality of education by creating joint programmes, organising joint conferences and seminars; implementation of joint scientific research within the scope agreed by the parties to the agreement and cooperation in the field of improving the qualifications of teaching and research staff within the scope of their powers.
The agreement was concluded for an indefinite period of time.
Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages
On May 30, 2019, the Rector of the University of Linguistics and Technology in Świecie, Dr. Elżbieta Sternal, signed a cooperation agreement with the Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages, which was represented by Rector Salima S. Kunanbayeva.
The subject of the agreement is cooperation between the parties in the field of specialist education and training concerning joint scientific and research activities and the implementation of the jointly developed Academic Mobility Programme for students and employees of both Universities.
The agreement also defines joint activities through mutual assistance in the improvement of educational and scientific processes, exchange of professional experience and documentation to ensure the quality of educational programs, promotion of joint scientific research, including the creation of joint scientific education and research structures.
Minsk State Linguistic University (Republic of Belarus)
On February 20, 2019, the Rector of the University of Linguistics and Technology in Świecie, Dr. Elżbieta Sternal, signed a cooperation agreement with the Minsk State Linguistic University, represented by the Rector, Dr. Natalia Baranawa.
According to the agreement, the cooperation is carried out in the following areas: implementation of a joint programme in the field of philology at the level of first- and second-cycle studies preparing for the profession of teacher in the field of humanities and in the field of social sciences and in the field of social sciences in the discipline of pedagogy, and conducting joint scientific research in the above-mentioned fields. The agreement also enables the creation of joint first- and second-cycle study programmes, the organisation of internships for students, master’s students and lecturers, the implementation of a two-degree programme of education in the field of philology at the level of first- and second-cycle and postgraduate studies, the exchange of academic staff for teaching and research purposes, and the publication of the results of scientific papers and scripts in the periodicals of both Parties.
Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abaya (Republic of Kazakhstan)
On 30 September 2011, the University of Linguistics and Technology in Świecie and the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abaya (Republic of Kazakhstan), represented by the Rector Prof. Praliyev Seryk Zhaylauowicz, concluded an Agreement on the implementation of the Programme of Two-Cycle Master’s Education in the Field of Philology. The main objective of this agreement is the implementation of the jointly developed Programme of Two-Cycle Master’s Education in the field of philology
Syrdaria University (Republic of Kazakhstan)
The agreement between the University of Linguistics and Technology in Świecie and the University of Syrdaria (Republic of Kazakhstan) was signed on 30 September 2012. The agreement was concluded in order to undertake cooperation in the field of education and in the field of undertaking scientific research and other undertakings. The University of Syrdaria and the University of Linguistics and Technology have agreed that both universities will seek cooperation in the field of education and research in the area of common interest. As part of the agreement, both universities will support direct contacts and cooperation between lecturers, faculties, research centres and students.
Cherkasy State University of Technology in Ukraine
The University of Linguistics and Technology in Świecie has signed a cooperation agreement with the Cherkasy State University of Technology in Ukraine. Scientific and research cooperation of the University will be carried out in the following forms: conducting joint scientific research in the field of philological sciences, organizing bilateral seminars, publishing the results of scientific papers and scripts in periodicals of both Parties, exchange of scientific publications, scripts and teaching aids, implementation of a two-degree program of education at the level of first-cycle (bachelor’s) and second-cycle (master’s) studies. The University of Linguistics and Technology in Świecie has also concluded a cooperation agreement with the Cherkasy State University of Technology in Ukraine for the implementation of the Two-Degree Master’s Education Program.
IEEF (Indo – European Education Foundation)
The University of Linguistics and Technology in Świecie has established cooperation with IEEF (Indo – European Education Foundation). The aim of the cooperation is mutual scientific and non-scientific development, which is to lead to the exchange of students and the commencement of studies at ULT by students from India and the Indian Region.

International Scientific and Methodological Centre Qazyna Education
Cooperation agreement of 13 August 2021 between the University of Linguistics and Technology in Przasnysz and the International Centre for Science and Methodology Qazyna Education. The subject of cooperation is:
- implementation of a research internship in the field of humanities, also in the field of technical sciences,
- development of scientific competences of trainees,
- help in mastering the skills of conducting scientific and research work,
- organization of scientific conferences and seminars, publication of the results of scientific research of the interns’ work in the monograph Humanistica21.
